We are Public Housing Leaders representing the largest public housing authority (PHA) in North America, NYCHA. More than 400,000 New Yorkers reside in NYCHA’s 328 public housing developments across the City’s five boroughs. Another 235,000 receive subsidized rental assistance in private homes through the NYCHA-administered Section 8 Leased Housing Program.
Our role as resident council leaders is to improve the quality of life and resident satisfaction, participate in self-help initiatives that enable residents to create a positive living environment for their families living in public housing.

Think Watts Foundation
THINKWATTS FOUNDATION is a 501c3 organization founded by Brandon “Stix”; Salaam-Bailey, with a primary focus on community grassroots activations along with developing financial literacy programs, custom container housing solutions, and charitable fundraising through entertainment industry efforts. Born and raised in Watts, California, Stix has worked his way to become a rapper, record producer, songwriter, and entrepreneur over the last 16 years. However, his involvement with music is a jumping off point to his advocacy to giving back to his community through his THINK WATTS Foundation. As a staple in the community, Stix has formed deep rooted community relationships building bridges from the community to some of its professional residents such as LAFC, LA Clippers, and the LA Rams.

GDS Growth and Development Services Inc.
For more than 23 years, Growth and Development Services, Inc. (GDS) has helped inner-city youth in Upper Manhattan beat the odds and create bright, self-sufficient futures. Through our quality after-school and summer programs, counseling services, training programs for aspiring mental health and youth workers, and community advocacy, we’ve leveled the playing field for more than a thousand underserved young people, providing them with the skills, support, confidence, and motivation they need to succeed in school, in their communities, and in the workforce.
NYPD 34th Precinct
The 34th Precinct serves the communities of Washington Heights and Inwood, north of West 179th Street. The precinct covers two square miles, with 500 acres of parkland, including Inwood Hill Park and Fort Tyron Park.

Bronx Family Network Inc. was founded in 2018 by a group of individuals with a shared passion for helping the needy and unfortunate. Among these individuals are people with years of experience working with but not limited to, NYC’s Department of Homeless Services helping the homeless; as well as an involvement with other charitable activities.
