Since 2008, Inhisname United Inc. has been committed to spreading joy, hope, and compassion to children and families in need. What began as a local holiday effort in Washington Heights has grown into a global mission of love and service. To date, we have proudly distributed over 95,000 brand-new toys across New York City’s five boroughs, including our own community, local schools, community centers, orphanages, and numerous family homeless shelters.

Our impact has reached far beyond New York. Through the continued support of partners, volunteers, and community members, we have expanded our outreach to Orlando, Florida, as well as internationally to Colombia and the Dominican Republic, ensuring that children everywhere—regardless of their circumstances—feel seen, valued, and remembered during the holiday season.

These toys represent more than gifts. They represent moments of happiness, relief for families facing hardship, and the reassurance that their community stands with them. Over the years, we have witnessed firsthand the power of a simple act of kindness—the way a child’s smile can uplift an entire household, and how giving back strengthens the fabric of every community we touch.
